Newlife- Equipment Grant Services The equipment can vary from a wheelchair or a bed through to a communication aid and therapy equipment shed, we have also funded vital equipment such as replacement clothing and braille machines. The breadth of kit we have provided to children and families is too long to list here but the most important thing is that in each case it meets the individual needs of the individual child Housing Options- 0845 4561497 Housing Options is a housing advisory service for people with learning disabilities, their families and their supporters. We offer free advice to people with learning disabilities, their families and advocates. The Housing Options website is a comprehensive source of information about housing and related issues for people with learning disabilities. There are a range of Factsheets and Quick Briefs that provide families and professionals with technical information about housing. Notts County Council Occupational Therapy The Occupational Therapy Service can provide you with advice, equipment and adpatations to help you live independently in your own home. Children Today - 01244 335622 Children Today provide grants for vital, life-changing equipment for children and young people with sickness and disability across the UK. Action For Kids- 020 8347 8111 Action For Kids Charitable Trust provides disabled young people up to the age of 26 with specialist mobility equipment, giving children full participation in life's activities.
